Shopping Cart Program

  • Minimum two PM’s per year where all shopping carts are touched/inspected and repaired to ensure operational safety for customers and store personnel
  • 4 PM’s per year helps reduce unnecessary service calls being dealt with by store managers who excel in store operations not shopping cart repairs
  • 2 of 4 PM’s would include washes
  • Service calls are costly and ineffective, as soon as the handful of carts are dealt with additional carts are found and put out of service. It’s a circle of unnecessary spending

PM Portals

• TCM records all PM visits on our Portal

• FM’s are able to access these records and look up any of their stores and see the details from each visit

• This access enables the FM to see costs all broken down by the parts and labour associated with each visit

• We take pictures of the carts at the store, this now makes the fleets cosmetic condition visible to everyone who needs to see it at head office

• Model/Manufacturer, we record this information to help procurement/operations & FM understand who has what models & how many so top up orders during busy periods are the correct carts needed

Backroom Equipment

• Minimum service twice a year to ensure employees are using safe and clean equipment

• Stock trucks, online carts, hi bouys/low bouys, bakery racks, U boats, etc

OEM Parts

• Any and all carts will have OEM parts used when being replaced in order to comply with engineered specifications

• Paperless packing slips are available if email addresses are supplied ahead of time
